and because of a lifelong love of animals,
I was drawn to Animal Reiki.
I felt chosen to share this spiritual practice
with the animal world and achieved
my certification in
Animal Reiki Salt Lake City.
When I first started practicing Reiki
on myself, I found I was holding on to a number of physical and emotional issues. During the course of my Self-Reiki practice,
I overcame asthma and released unhealthy energies I was holding on to.
By experiencing Reiki myself,
I have a better understanding of the capabilities of using Reiki to balance the energies of other beings.

We had recently moved into our new home when Katie came by to perform Reiki on my dog, Gigi. Her movements were skittish, and she was less trusting of other people. Katie’s knowledge about canine care is extensive, and she took the time to answer all my questions, ensuring I felt confident in the support provided.
What impressed me most was Katie’s gentle approach with my 13 year old Golden Retriever, Cooper. Katie understands the unique needs of older dogs and offered tailored support and comfort. It was evident that Katie genuinely cares about every dog she works with, treating them like family.
I brought Cooper to Katie because his back hips are old and very weak and having trouble getting up from the floor even on carpeting. When she started working with him, he was panting and stressed. Within a few minutes he was relaxed and fell asleep. After a few sessions with Katie, suddenly Cooper could get himself off our slippery hard wood floor and was prancing around. I could not believe my eyes since it had been several months since he could do that. It is a week later and he is still doing fantastic.
